The goal of enterprise learning is to provide required online courses as well as optional learning opportunities that offer skills, knowledge and connections that are meaningful and essential to the Drexel community. Enterprise Learning will consist of:

  • Required online courses on vital topics such as Information Security, Protection of Minors, Title IX, and Code of Conduct/Conflict of Interest.
  • Opportunities for a deeper dive into each topic, including resources, virtual roundtable discussions, and connections to Drexel experts.

Online courses will be assigned in Career Pathway throughout the year. Faculty and professional staff members will be able to complete them at any time from when they are assigned through the due date of November 1, 2024.

Protection of Minors and Reporting Child Abuse

As a community of caring, Drexel University has established the Protection of Minors and Reporting Child Abuse Policy, a formal set of requirements, guidelines and procedures, in accordance with all applicable state laws, for the protection and supervision of minors (anyone under the age of 18) who attend Drexel or take part in its programs and activities.

This module, offered in collaboration with the Minor Coordinator, will include information regarding the Minors Program Registration Process, Best Practices for Interacting with Minors, Mandated Reporting of Child Abuse, and Signs of Child Abuse.

Drexel University Information Security Compliance

Drexel University Information Security Compliance online course: As part of the Drexel community, we have an obligation to protect our people, information and systems from cybercriminals. This information security awareness training will provide you with vital tools and awareness to help prevent cyberattacks.

Understanding Title IX

Understanding Title IX Module, “Report = Support”: Drexel University seeks to foster an educational and work environment that is safe, welcoming and free from discrimination, harassment, bias and sexual misconduct in all forms. Understanding Drexel's policies around these topics, including the University's efforts to comply with federal Title IX law, can help our community become safer, empower our faculty and staff to comply with mandated reporting requirements detailed in University policies, and encourage individuals to take appropriate action to help themselves or others. This course is a review of Drexel's policies and procedures surrounding issues of sexual harassment and sexual misconduct; an explanation of mandated reporting and other key concepts and terms within the policies; and a primer on best practices related to these issues. At the end of the course, you will be able to understand the University's obligations under policy and federal Title IX law, identify what types of behaviors fall within these policies, and understand how to report concerns related to issues of sexual harassment or sexual misconduct when they are raised. This is a mandatory course for all Drexel employees. Any employee who may require alternative education of the subject matter should contact eictraining@drexel.edu.

Drexel University Active Threat: We’re Prepared, Are You?

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is committed to your safety and works diligently to foster and maintain a safe environment for students, faculty, staff and neighbors in the surrounding community. This online module includes information dealing with violence and active threats. You will learn the importance of understanding potential threats and reporting them prior to something happening; the importance of a threat assessment; actions you could take to keep yourself safe; and what to expect from the police response.
